Fraud Prevention & Referral Validation

ViralHub has several built-in safeguards to ensure only genuine referrals are counted.

Duplicate Detection

• Each email address can only enter a campaign once.
• Device fingerprinting prevents the same person from signing up with multiple emails from the same browser.

Self-Referral Prevention

The system automatically detects when a participant attempts to use their own referral link and blocks the extra entry.

IP Rate Limiting

Multiple sign-ups from the same IP address within a short window are flagged and held for manual review.

Email Verification

Optionally require participants to verify their email address before their entry counts. Enable this under Campaign Settings → Require Email Verification.

Reviewing Flagged Entries

Flagged entries appear in Admin → Campaigns → [Campaign Name] → Flagged. You can approve or discard them individually.

Exporting Entries

Export all valid participants as a CSV from Campaign → Participants → Export for use with your email tool or prize draw.
